About this module

Bringing a year of choices into one working picture of agency.

This closing module gathers everything Year 2 has built, responding instead of reacting, choosing under real pressure, finding a voice, holding a boundary, closing the digital-self gap, thinking independently, saying no, and reading failure as data, into a single, working sense of personal agency. Year 1 ended with a teen who could see clearly what was happening inside them; Year 2 ends with a teen who has practiced acting on that clarity, again and again, in situations that actually mattered. That practiced agency is what opens the door into Year 3, where the focus extends from acting for oneself to offering something outward.

What they'll explore

What this module consolidates.

  • A clear, personal summary of the choices they've practiced making across Year 2.
  • The ability to connect each earlier module to a real decision where it actually applied.
  • A first articulation of their own working definition of agency.
  • Readiness to carry that agency into Year 3, where it extends toward other people.
  • A way of recognizing, going forward, when they've reverted to old reactive patterns, and how to choose again.

Three lanes of knowing

Understood, practiced, and explored.

Lane 1 · Science

Why practiced agency compounds

What's understood about how repeated, real decisions build a more durable sense of capability than any single success.

Lane 2 · Practice

A personal agency inventory

A guided practice for naming, in their own words, the choices across this year they're most proud of making.

Lane 3 · Meaning-making

What have I proven I can choose?

A capstone reflection gathering the year's work into one honest account of their own agency.

Outcome

"I know I can make real choices, even under pressure, and I'm ready to put that agency to use for others."
